"The
patient continued on for several minutes
speaking highly of Jon, making me extremely
proud that I have the honor of working with
someone who makes such an impact and whom is
such a great support for our patients" |
Jon Seskevich,
a nurse clinician with Stress and Pain
Management at DUH, is recognized by Amy
Royals, MSW, LCSW, a clinical social worker
for the Lung Transplant Team.
Royals said: "I was recently stopped in
clinic 2F by a lung transplant patient who
mentioned sitting in on one of Jon
Seskevich’s presentations. Jon gives
presentations at different times throughout
the year to the lung transplant patients and
their caregivers at the Center for Living
campus. This patient went on to say that of
all the experiences he has had thus far at
Duke and all the educational classes he has
sat in on at the Center for Living, Jon’s
presentation was one of the most
impressionable -- not only because of the
information that was given during Jon’s
presentation, but also because of Jon and
the passion he portrayed. The patient
continued on for several minutes speaking
highly of Jon, making me extremely proud
that I have the honor of working with
someone who makes such an impact and whom is
such a great support for our patients."
